Meet Diana

Hi and welcome to my blog!   My name is Diana and I have been teaching for 11 years. I taught one year of third and the rest has been in Kindergarten.  I love teaching Kindergarten!  I love watching them grow throughout the year.  It amazes me how they come in as babies and grow into independent thinkers.  Their curiosity and love of learning is contagious!  I am excited to be apart of this blogging community.  I have connected and learned from so many amazing educators and I am excited to continue to grow and learn throughout this journey. Thank you for taking the time to stop by!

On a personal note, my husband and I married in May 2014.  He supports me and is my number one cheerleader.  I couldn't ask for a better partner!

Last June we welcomed our first child into the world.  I feel so lucky to be this sweet little girl's Mom and these past six months have been amazing.  I went back into the classroom the beginning of October and now have the best of both worlds.  I get to spend weekends, breaks, and summers with my favorite little girl as well as teach my favorite grade.

I opened my TeachersPayTeachers store about two years ago.  I have always loved creating resources for my classroom and decided to give this adventure a try.  It has been the best thing I have done for my teaching career because I have connected with such fantastic educators and have learned so much from them.  I feel as though this journey keeps my ideas fresh in the classroom and I love sharing resources and ideas with others.

  1. Hi Diana! Your blog is so cute! I added your button to my blog. :) We have a few things in common- I just got married this June too, I started out in third grade, and am a White Sox fan! Are you from Chicago? I would love to stay in touch and support each other as teacher bloggers!

  2. Hi! Thank you! I have always wanted to do this, and I am excited! Your blog is great! I love the design. Congrats on your marriage! I can't believe how fast this year has gone, we were talking about how it's hard to believe our one year anniversary is in three months! Go White Sox, I think we are going to have a good year! Yes, I live in a suburb outside of Chicago, how about you? I would love to stay connected and support each other, I'm sure I could learn a lot from you! Once I figure out how to put your button on my blog I'll do the same! :)

  5. Hi Diana,
Sorry I missed this! All you do is go to my blog on Tuesday and look at the bottom of my post. There is a place that says add your link. Click that and then you put in your information. Then, it takes care of the rest and people can link over to your post through my blog! I will leave some directions in the post too! Feel free to email me if you have any problems. :)
